I am very new to the forums, to exploring, AND to Lexington. I'd love to meet others in the area who are into urbex, even if just for drinks or something at first. I understand if my newness makes people wary, but just wanted to put that out there!

I posted the photos from my first official excursion in the Great Lakes category, since I did that while visiting home (where I have people I can drag along, albeit slightly unwillingly). I did do a lot of wandering around abandoned buildings in my younger days, since there's not much in way of entertainment for youth where I come from, but I don't count that.

Lex has a drain or two and a couple of roofs. Lots of stuff around the city gets renovated relatively quickly. Other than that, it's all rural houses and barns.
Louisville and Covington have tons of stuff.

agreed ^^^. outside of the big cities in Kentucky there are tons of farm old houses , and some old schools or county hospitals if you get lucky, seems like their disappearing fast recently though.
