These are some photos I took of Kings Park Psych back in 2010 when I was working on my photo book on the place. I was finally able to grab these off my old drive.

This is a selection of the photos from Kings Park. As always, the rest are on my Flickr and my website.

All of these were shot with an Olympus E-3 so they're funky 4/3 aspect ratio for the most part (except where I cropped them). You can view the whole gallery right here on Flickr.

One of the best sets I have seen in a while. Very interesting. Captured this place very well. GJ!

Wow. Didn't realize it wasn't so destroyed back then.

Thank you all for the compliments, I had a ton of fun shooting there. It was basically the perfect time of year - got awesome light and a ton of cool foliage and everything. I would love to go back there sometime and do a bit of an update.

And yeah, it was pretty ruined even 5 - 6 years ago, in my experience. Some parts were worse than others, and the most destroyed shots in my set are from the older medical/surgical building that closed down in the 1970's or something, so they'd been abandoned for longer than building 93, which was up and running (at least some of it was) as late as '96.

Nice work buddy. The vandalism has gotten pretty bad in recent years. Still some of my favorite drinking rooftops of all time though.

Thank you very much.

Ah, I'd still like to head back sometime. How're the structures holding up? 20 years abandoned as of this year for the last of them, a lot more for some of the older ones.

Great set man, I love your use of natural light. Wrecked as it is now, I still love it and can't wait to go back. Good stuff!

Thanks. I always enjoyed going to Kings Park - it's such a huge location and there's so much variety to it. I think I've probably only seen maybe a third to a half of what it has to offer, and I must have made at least 5-6 trips there when I was shooting for my book.
