Compared to last year, 2015 didn't yield nearly as many explores as ones past. In February '15 I scored my first full time office job. Not giving me nearly as much free time. Luckily i am no longer apart of that bullshit lifestyle anymore.
Since 2016 rolled around, I've already explored a few out of state spots and this year is looking a lot brighter for me now that I have more free time to explore my hobbies.
But looking back there were a few amazing highlights that certainly mattered to me and a good bit of memorable explores.
1.
This year i got to check out some buildings downtown i never noticed before.
2.
Got the ever living shit scared out of me when i stumbled into this basement.
3.
Seriously.. creepiest location ever..
4.
Took the absolute best nap of my life in a hammock with a fine lady on a lazy summer afternoon..
5.
6.
Got to shoot some hoops in an abandoned school.
7.
8.
9.
Got to explore both one of the largest industrial hulks i've ever been in and also the freshest.
10.
11.
Got to explore some beautiful and historically significant places as well.
12.
13.
Got to see my first autopsy theatre after drooling over other's photos for years.
14.
Got to explore a megachurch days before it's bulldozing.
15.
Annnd it's attached victorian mansion. a 2-in-1 explore. (odd right?) I believe the mansion is still standing. Glad they decided to save it.
16.
Got to hang out in a mountain town and explore a relatively untouched hydroplant with turbines unlike any i've ever seen. In West Virginia, one of the most neglected states for exploring.
17.
Was extremely fortunate to reach the apex of my favorite building in my city and probably never will again.
18.
All in all a decent year for exploring. Looking to a much more active 2016
