By now you can definitely tell Letchworth is by far my favourite place to explore. I also included a picture from the Glenwood power plant (for some reason on uer this photo sucks) and a picture from Untermeyer Park. Im looking to explore over christmas break. hopefully going up to rockland and maybe jersey. I really want to go to another hospital/asylum. I seem to get my best photos there.

Tell me what you think of the set, like favourites and all

Chillin. Start trying other types of places. Get out of your element. It'll help you with new perspectives and ideas.

If you're focusing on photography in these places. Light, light, light, and composition. Natural light is the beauty of these places. Shadows. Simple compositions. Keep at it.

I like #5 and #9 the best. #2 looks like it came out slightly over-sharpened, which is why it has that effect. Going off what randomesquephoto mentioned, the small and basic elements are key to a good shot. Taking a few extra seconds to make sure the shot is properly composed and straightened will make a world of difference. Either way, I like your stuff so keep it up!

I don't usually browse the photography forums because I'm no photographer that's for sure. But I'm hoping to get better so perhaps I'll start looking for a little advice here myself. My camera is pretty simple but once I turn the mode selector off Full Auto or Flash Disabled, I'm pretty much lost. Those all look pretty good to me Rach.

I have the same issue when I post pics here. The forum resizes the picture so the fine details get distorted. You really need to see the original image to get a true idea of what it looks like. My camera takes 1920x1280 images which is about as low as it will go. Most of the pics I've posted here tend to look like that also. Particularly exteriors of brick buildings.

Of course I could be wrong . . . . .

I'm sorry Your Honor, it will never happen again !

Try hosting the images on a site like Flickr or imgur and then linking the images onto the pages here, it'll have a better resolution and clearer image. Never host them directly off this site, it will always look terrible.
