Having joined back in May, this would be my first year on the site to post a review of. My post is not as extensive as others, but it was enough to make me have an awesome year out exploring my favorite types of places.
Starting the year off, I did my part to try and save the infamous Greystone Psychiatric Hospital. I attended the rally in April and did what I could being from PA.

Soon after joining the site and posting some pictures/participating in some discussions, I revealed what was easily my favorite location. Only having been in a few buildings and failing at my recent attempts, I never thought I'd get back. I am very thankful for EsseXploreR for showing me the ropes of the location and spending a day exploring with me. Here's a few from our trip:

With all the help from EsseX, I began to feel very comfortable with the location and made several return trips by myself. By several I mean almost every weekend for a good 1-2 months visiting this location exclusively. Here are a few shots from my trips.

Then all of a sudden, police presence was stepped up to an extremely high level. News articles began coming out almost weekly speaking of the demolition and arrests made. Just like that, the place wasn't do-able anymore and I haven't stepped foot in since. It was time to visit somewhere new. I normally don't go to a new location by myself, but I couldn't drag anyone with me so I set out here:

A few weeks later, I headed over here completely last minute and totally unprepared for anything but had a nice time getting some exterior shots.

Fast forward to Thanksgiving - Im on my way to visit some family for a few days and made a point to stop at these two locations that would normally be too far for a day trip. I was running on a pretty tight schedule but still made some time to just pull the car over and get a few shots.

Lastly I made my way for a re-visit to place I went to a little over a year ago. Again not being able to drag anyone with me, I stuck to some smaller buildings that sometimes get overlooked on this campus. Thankful again with some helpful info from EsseX, it was a successful trip and I knew right where to go. Although I really want to get back and see the famous buildings on campus once I find someone willing to go.

Finally I will end with a bucket-list location. I visited here back in early September but just picked the wrong day really. That mixed with not knowing the place and being alone, I didn't manage to get on campus. Once I do a little more research and find someone to go accompany me, I'm pretty determined to make it here.
