Hey, I was there too.

But seriously. My mom worked there back in '89. She told me that it was "old and creepy" even when she worked there. It's amazing how many stories and memories people have in that place.

thanks for giving it a try

Even the light table still works! Nice find for a city which supposedly has very little in the way of explorables.

Cool place. Looks pretty untouched. Did you find any bananas inside there?

I've been to this hospital many times however, I have not been in the area you took these pictures. What floor is this on? How do you access this part of the building?

Sorry bb, not sharing my POE. Figuring out how to get in is what makes it fun.

I believe I know the hospital this post is regarding and it's not abandoned. It is being repurposed as an academic building for the nearby university. The upper floors are empty but the building is not unused (I have several classes in it). My favorite part of the building would have to be the basement. It has been ripped apart and the dim lighting makes it look like the series opening of The Walking Dead.

This half might as well be abandoned. And I'm being vague on purpose, it's a location that really can't handle more traffic.

Being that this building is located on an active college campus it is very easy to get inside because there actually are class rooms and even a store located inside the building. There is a morgue located in the basement too! In my opinion the entire building is very uninteresting though.

It really can't handle much traffic. If everyone and their cousin tries to get inside, maintenance will lock it up and make it impossible to get in.

You don't have to worry about me trying to explore it. Doesn't seem all that interesting enough to make a trip specifically to check it out. Maybe if i'm ever in town, with nothing to do.
