This little old factory made floor tiles for the rich, handcrafted and very durable. The owners, a couple but also nephew and niece, lived in an adjacent house. The factory went out of business around 1940, the last resident of the house died in the early '70s. A recent collapse shows how the years of decay take their toll, even accrow props placed by the cultural heritage agency can't hold the building up.
At the end of my visit I wondered why all my photos showed flares, looked at my lens and it was full of greasy smears
Need to return and reshoot soon.
