My expectations were high for this one, but I ended up being a bit disappointed. Sure, there were some cool features, but besides that all was trashed and just didn't have that 'great old building feeling', if you know what I mean.

The factory does however have a rich history. You can read a condensed version of it on my website: http://www.basdemo.../paper-factory-dn/

Place looks awesome to me.

I second this! I really like the look of that lobby space with the stained glass window, book matched marble walls and tiled floors. Did you get a look at the papers in the drawers in number 12? Curious what those were for...

Overall, nice pics! Thanks for sharing!

There's the crazy one, the photographer, and me, the driver, a mix of both. And we're a pretty kickass team if I do say so myself.

Jac, thanks for learning me a new term: book matched. I noticed how the slabs were placed but didn't know it had a name!

The drawings left behind were all technical and architectural drawings.

Great spot you found. Like the down low shooting position. Go beyond the tripod to get into off the wall, floor, whatever shooting angles. A small cotton towel comes in handy to put the cam on and help stabilize it.

Yeah one of my architecture classes went on a trip to Columbus, Indiana a few months ago and we went to the Miller house while we were there. That house had book-matched walls as well and that was where I first heard the term myself.

I'm a sucker for architectural drawings for obvious reasons. Thanks for that extra picture!
