Just found about this on YouTube & did a Google search on an Afghan box camera that could be used for UE photography.
The interior of the camera also functions as a darkroom & contains trays filled with developing chemicals & uses a lightproof arm sleeve to allow the photographer to develop the prints. Two sheets of paper are required, the first print made is a negative & then a photograph of it is made with the same camera to make a positive print.
If taking photos in UE locations where there is not enough light to make a positive copy of the negative,a flashlight can be used to provide the light needed. In some instances when time is limited, the negative made could be scanned, inverted & edited.
