Did you take all of these pictures at night???

17 minute exposure outdoors? Every time I try something like that or even bracketing shots I get distortion in the trees due to movement. How did you do it?

Very unique house. I am also interested how you got the extended exposure on that shot. It never pans out when I attempt it.

Thanks all. The actual time on that shot was 1057 seconds, so really closer to 17.6 mins. Used ISO 100, used a remote and locked the shutter button down, then went inside while the exposure was made; checking out the window on occasion to make sure the camera didn't get jacked. The faint blue light inside is me dicking around on my phone while the timer counted down 15 minutes. How I got over seventeen beats me, I ended it right before the timer ended.

It was unusually dead-calm that night, and beyond natural light I had only the tree-obscured light of an adjacent gas station to work with. Used a flashlight to focus. This was the (unedited) three and a half-minute exposure that preceded it - curiously, the trees were a little distorted from wind, here.

Beautiful! I hope at least some of her is salvaged.

And that's easily $20 worth of garlic. If it hasn't frozen, it's still good.

Just drove by again this morning; she's gone.

The long exp. rocks! But, really like the warmth of your tones and the richness of your colors. Cool!
