Anyone know of anyone abandoned locations in Chicago or in the north or northwest suburbs? Or in Milwaukee?

Rather than come here and post something obviously that screams Hi, I'm new here, hand me locations, try searching some yourself. The internet is there.

You need to make a few threads, post up some pictures, let people know you're a credible and capable explorer. Then maybe people will choose to share locations with you. If you just go around asking for handouts though you'll just end up getting trolled pretty hard.

Aw very funny. However, Wrigley Field is not the kind of Urban Exploring I am looking for! I have attached some links to prove that I actually do urban exploring.

Well, there's the abandoned Wrigley building in Chicago's 35th and Ashland. 6 blocks east of that, there's a large abandoned building at 35th and Morgan that I haven't been to but know people that have. I think they get in by [mod edit: removed POE details]

I also found several locked abandoned buildings, like 1 by North avenue and Pulaski, as well as an abandoned store on Grand and Hamlin.

Then there's the Damen silos. Which you might have already been to.

And several abandoned buildings like Damen and Pershing, Cermak and Canal, as well as 36th and Jasper.

These "please give me new locations in the big city" threads are annoying.

Awesome! A list of locations and even entrance details! I'm sure people are going to be beating down your door to share locations with you now. So good to see so many Chicago locations mentioned in one post!

Let it be known that anyone asking for Chicago handouts will, from this point the last time it happened-on, be sent to Wrigley Field...

...but seriously: track record or not, there's absolutely no fun in just asking for spots. Get out there and look for them, or play with StreetView. God forbid, get creative in finding them... I found most of my locations there by following the local graffiti scene.

Bill Finan moved to the Midwest? Are you one of his fake accounts?

Seriously though, last I heard, all of the worthwhile abandoned buildings in that region were sealed up with those VPS metal plates. You'd need to learn how to pick a high-security padlock if you wanted to get in.
