Great example of ignoring the rules for the sake of the picture. I've never taken a picture this good.

Excellent stuff! I love Alone, freaking spot on shot right there! The one of the three chairs is kick ass as well.

My favorites are Don't Stair (love the lighting and colors) and Creepy Corridor, but great work all around!

Love the old farm house with the shadow of the tree on the side. I think it would look cool light painted or in HD Black and White. Really like your large pics! Thanks for that! & you DO have some really awesome pics on line...that Baker booklet on the Baths is a nice find.

I don't understand...I'll go back and read the rules..though I seldom follow them, I mean Christ we are a bunch of trespassers remember?

I'm specifically here because it's a tight group and I thought there was an emphasis on better photography.

Both Dee and WEK are complimenting you.
The rule mentioned is most likely relating to the photography rule of thirds, essentially lining your subject up in one of the crosshairs of a tic-tac-toe grid, making the scene more pleasing to the way your brain balls are wired. Your photo is one of the exceptions, it works well centered and they are marveling at that, especially because it is not always seen presented that way.
Dee would like to take colored flashlights to that location at dark-thirty and position them about for photog'ing effectery.

You're good, Good.

Thanks all. I apologize for mistaking the intent of the comment. The photo did make Explorer on Flickr. I shot that photo with a point and shoot. Then revisted it 2 years later with significant lightroom experience in hand. I tweeked it here and there and reposted. Boom magic, it's on Explorer. Same photo, mildly different treatment.
