Met up with Z0th for a trip back to a sweet industrial spot with the hopes of getting the other half of the place in. Upon our arrival we met up with TheSwanStation who was up from NY state and proceeded to hit our poe and make our way in to the foundry. It's been a couple weeks since the last trip and sure enough, demo seems to be in full swing now. New piles of scrap lay about, pieces I remembered from last time are now gone and the worst part, the way in to the other half, chained up! No luck this time so we wandered through the familiar side which still yielded a few new surprises.

if you like this style of photog, look up "bokeh", its the effect you get from using wide aperture/f-stop. it shortens the depth of field

Looks like someone was making fun of the Banana's in Pajamas in pic 1, used to love that show when I was like nine. Looks like it was a really cool place to explore. Loved the photos!

Thanks all! It is a great spot, sadly it seems to be in the midst of demo now, so not sure how long until she's gone. Bokeh is great for isolating subjects. Using a fast lens is the key, 2.8 or faster, this was a Sigma 35 and 50 both f1.4

I like single object shots. The chain, the drill bit, the MacDonalds Can. Cool takes. Now i know you guys have a different coffee fave and a Completely different Mc Donalds lol ~wink~ darn it, i forgot how to make the winky haha!
