These are some recent wanderings. One is an old incinerator that most of the DFW folks will recognize. The other is a mill that was closed a while back.
We started out at the incinerator just out of simplicity. We showed up and started taking pictures pretty early. After we went inside, we could hear some people talking. My buddy yelled to let them know we were there. A few seconds later, a couple of terrified photographers poked their heads around the corner to make sure we weren't going to rob them. They were doing a fashion shoot.
Even stepping around them, we had a pretty good time. We got into the base of the stacks and got the pictures we wanted.

We ran across a bed with a wire spool table by it. My buddy walked into their bathroom before he realized what it was. Always look down, folks. It ain't worth slipping on that particular substance.
We stayed on the lower floors to keep from bothering the residents, even though it was tempting to go check out the other floors. Did a little looking around under the platform and train scale. Even without hitting the upper floors it was pretty good.
