Taking the Mirror-less Plunge: Sony A7rII vs. the A7sII

I'm seriously considering the mirrorless option for a couple reasons:

1. They are way more portable than their DSLR counterparts (biggest advantage IMO). If it can't fit in the backpack, it can't go with me.
2. I can use my current Canon EF lenses with a metabones or similar adapter (obviously they wouldn't be as compatible as a native sony lens, but it would make the switch-over a bit less painful financially).
3. The low-light performance of these cameras (the A7rII and A7sII) blow my current Canon T4i out of the water completely.

I rarely (close to never) shoot video with my camera, so I'm not very concerned about that particular point. However, I know that some aspects of shooting video are closely tied to still photography in extreme low-light conditions, so I suppose the video capabilities worth some consideration for that reason.

I'd say I shoot more than 60% of the time in extreme low-light conditions (like under moonlight only, or inside some crusty old building with a manual speed light/flashlight only), perhaps even closer to 80% if I include time spent in the crusty old buildings during daylight hours, since these interiors can still be quite dim even with the existing daylight. I'd say 50-75% of my photos are taken with a tripod and a remote trigger for this reason.

Does anyone have any experience with these cameras or better yet, have experience with both of them and could offer any constructive suggestions/opinions/etc.? Hopefully, at least some of the above made sense (I've been sick, so forgive any rambling), and hopefully there are at least a few other people around here that have been wondering the same thing...

I'm trying to get as many opinions and feedback as possible, considering the sizable price tag on both of these cameras!

BTW, if anyone has any suggestions on another mirror less FF camera, please feel free to chime in!

Mirror less is a great choice. Been using them for years. Just never a full frame.

Google search "ming thein Sony " for his reviews on those cameras. Has the best opinion online.

Whichever one of those that doesn't have t he AA filter is the one to get.

All I can say is Sony support has always sucked.
Canon offers complete repair and calibration services at reasonable prices. First time you need them, you'll appreciate them. It's very easy to damage a cam especially outside. I rather not buy expensive throw aways.
If in doubt, wait another 6 to 12 months for the next new cam releases if you can.

I think you should wait, there will be more options in the near future from other camera companies.

if you want a nice portable camera, take a look at the Canon SL1 (100D), they utilize all of Canon's EF and EF-s lenses (which is all of them, besides the old film mount), they are iddy biddy small and some even call them a mini 7D. not mirrorless though, but if compact is a selling point, there it is
