facebook group might work but for security reasons I think a lot of people would be sketched out about it. Do any of you guys chat on IRC? I think that might be better? According to this: http://www.uer.ca/...urrpage=1&pp#post1 the official channel is #urbex on DALnet...I'm "happy_day" on there.

The only problem is DALnet sucks. I just got kicked from the channel for idling in there for only 5 minutes. EFnet is way better, and the server I use the most. I'm also in #urbex on there.

I actually bought a copy, I think they just e-mail you a "xchat.lic" file. This was way back in like 2007 so I can't remember? It evolved into this: https://hexchat.github.io/ ...which is FREE.

They have web-based AvChat on here but I'm not a fan of web based chat rooms and much prefer using IRC clients.

You shouldn't have to pay for IRC, there are tonnes of free clients and servers.

May just set up an event for the 2nd since that seems to be better than the 3rd for a meetup. Last-minute, but I'm sure some folks could make it out, if only to chat. Dunno about exploring, but it couldn't hurt to get to know folks in person. Plus, burgers.

Could we make it sunday? I work saturday night

I will be downtown at the Keg on granville this saturday around 5p.m. for a b-day thing, so probably not. Will be in Seattle the next weekend. I'm definitely looking forward to the 16th if anyone else wants to plan ahead for then?
