That's a damn fine price. The prime is also nice and fast for indoor shooting (assuming you have enough space to zoom with your feet)

I dunno what you'd use it for. With a 1.6 crop, the 50mm is like an 80mm on full frame which is getting right up there to mild tele.

It's almost like someone stole my camera. That's exactly what I have. And yeah the 50mm is really hard to use.

My friend manhandled me up a roof once.

Which is why I keep checking for sales on something full frame.

The 50mm is not a bad lens for portraits but for urbex it's not super useful!

I almost jumped on this thinking I could sell the lenses and have a cheap second body to shoot with (I currently use a T5i). It's worth noting this is the T5 body
(not the T5i body) which lacks decent low-light performance. Based on my experience with the T5i (also not great at high ISO), I'm guessing you wouldn't be able to get good results above ISO 800 with the T5.

Still a great deal though. Especially if you consider selling the 50mm f/1.8 and the 18-55m lenses on ebay.

Gone, but they still have a decent deal on another combo for $30 more:

Instead of 50 F1.8, this one is bundled with a 75-300mm F4-F5.6 telephoto.
