These photos are actually from a good six months or so ago. The majority of this building is totally collapsed and not exciting at all. Hanging metal and framing poses pretty good risks of cuts and concussions. Tiffers will be the first to tell you that, though I banged my head pretty well too. This was a short visit on a much bigger day of exploring, but it was worth the stop because of the remaining architecture. I'm a huge fan of vaulted ceilings so it was a surprise to find them in this little building. The splaying staircase around the elevator was a nice touch too, though I do find it sort of annoying that the stairs obscure the big arched window. Interestingly, there are other buildings in this same city with beautiful architecture partially obscured or covered up. I'll be sure to upload those in due time as well. Enjoy.

Nice shots indo. That place is in such bad shape. When I was there I kept having to dodge things falling from the ceiling. It's a shame because it was easy to tell the place was beautiful at one point.

Awesome pics of this place IndoA. I was so very disappointed when i got in. I had been eyeballing this place for near 6 years and always thought there HAD to be something really grand in there...Wrong! & what a shame. Glad you got upstairs...my back said >No Way that day

Thanks everyone! These are really the only shots worth sharing because the rest is rubble and collapsed roof. It's a real shame that places like this are rotting away. She has fantastic and beautiful bone structure, but it is beyond saving at this point. The staircase and ceiling remind me a lot of some of the places I see in the Northeast, where there was actual thought put into the aesthetics of buildings. I wish we had a lot more of that down here.
