This one up on the east side of Wisconsin finally started coming down last week. Relik probably knows this one; someone else here was in it a few years ago, too.

Damn! I better get my ass out there before it's completely gone.
(I may or may not have have saved the wall plagues from Osco Drug, in case you were wondering where they disappeared to..)

Is that the one right over by St. Vinny's sort of? If so I've seen that large lot....always wondered what used to be there.

Still would love to check out the inside of the old Walgreens? building near there. It has been vacant for almost 7+ years to my knowledge.

Yup, it used to be pretty close to St. Vinny's. The other building you're thinking of was a C.V.S. Pharmacy. I'm sure they keep it locked up and in good condition yet. The parking lot is definitely getting overgrown, though.

I did get into a long-vacant one near Gary a few years ago; it shut down just before the whole "Big Kmart" phase. Corporate doesn't really leave much behind but if you're really into old retail and stuff you'll usually find something to make it interesting.

Sadly, it seems that Kmart seems to lock their old properties up fairly tightly. There are a few vacant ones around the area that I have wanted to get into - not that doing so would be less bland than a typical Kmart shopping experience.

I will be disappointed if no one gets into Owings Mills Mall before demolition...but not terribly surprised, given the location. Was harassed for taking pictures there while it was still open, and I wasn't even inside at the time.

Oh good, my slow clap processor made it into this thing.
