What a hike. Did this one in 107 degrees. It's a little less than a mile up there. Mine was a little hard to find. Didn't enter for fear of snakes, eventually I wouldn't mind crawling in and see what's in there. Shined a light in, and it looks like it goes in a bit.

Nice Pics. I went to Max Delta Mine earlier this year. It was an easy hike with nice views. I didn't try to go inside the mine, but I took a few pics of the outside.

I ended up going back and going inside. Only made it to the end of what you can see, where you have to climb down a 6 foot drop, then it goes to the left about 50 feet at at a 40 degree slick incline. Would love to explore more inside with proper gear.
