Just outta curiosity has anyone tried to roof top a Catholic Church and if so, was it a major pain in the arse?

I have thought about doing this for awhile now. I think the best time would be after a service, when everyone is talking or just before the end. I'm interested to see who has and how they did it. Great question Helix .

I ran across this article from GQ last night. It was published in 2013 so you may have already seen it but it has a section talking about the ultimate church climb - Notre Dame. Still an interesting article about the UE life.

This guy did it and was arrested. Seems worth it just for the view.

Climbing Notre Dame? That would not only be great photos but a hell of a rush. My hats off to that dude. The biggest church in my town is a Catholic church and that rooftop has been on my mind for a month now so I had to throw the question out there because of the architecture it seems like it'd be a bitch to make it up to the top.

Read "Hidden Cities" by Moses Gates. He did Notre Dame years and years ago, was caught, and the police let him off and asked to see his pictures. Hahaha. Not sure how that would go nowadays.

A church in Buffalo was done on the Discovery Channel's 'Urban Explorers' tv show. I was up on that same roof, but I didn't walk around as they did between the access point and the bell tower because I value my life and knew that I'd probably end up falling off of the side.
