Fantastic collection of photos, can't even choose one that I like the most. The last one is very cool - love the light!

Thank you so much Storytrail, those mines were spectacular the day I visited them, awesome fog/mist and lighting near the entrances!

These are fantastic! What a great post to scroll through.

Thanks Puddlejumper!

Yeah, I've been watching these as they go up on Flickr. Some really, really great stuff here.

Thank you Punchy, some day I hope to get down to your part of the country.

Hey, you got pretty close with a couple of the locations here. Just holler if you ever come further south.

Fuck me. I'm quitting photography. I'll never come close to your level.

I can't pick a favorite, so here's a few:

#5: Nothing technical for me, just because Nixon.
#6: I can't think of the words beyond "texture" and "close up," but I'm 100% morbidly fascinated with this shot.
#10: The use of form here is fucking dominating and creepy and I love it.
#17: Awesome use of color and space
#19: Same as 17, but with the added element of shape
#24: I'm loving that shadow bisecting the image almost right where the paint starts flaking away - I get this Silent Hill feel.
#28: While I'm comparing your work to shit I've seen in movies, the hard lighting here feels so otherworldly; like some HR Giger/Ridley Scott-inspired film set

I'mma cut myself short before I butter you up too much, but seriously awesome stuff!

RedBush, Wow, thanks so much!
Nixon was a lucky find, he was tucked away in a cabinet in that room, I had to dust him off and put him on display, couldn't resist.
Thanks again and don't ever quit, I learned from fellow photographers right here on UER and Flickr, got a lot of help along the way.

Well done sir. It's nice to see some actual good photography on these pages still. Too much amateur garbage lately.

Great work. Thanks for actually keeping EXIF data attached. It really helps me learn what you did to capture these images. I noticed many very long shutter speeds. Does this help with IQ or was it just necessary given ambient light?

Thank you WhiskeyPapa, a lot of the long exposures are due to the lighting and the fact that I almost always shoot with a polarizing filter, those extra 2 stops the filter gives often saves me a lot of blown out windows...usually.
