Suadensky95 and I went to this awesome location. I wish I could go over the entry, because that was an interesting story. Sadly, I will move on. Sorry for my crappy HTC pictures also. I tried to be artsy and good with my photos. They look better on my phone haha.

1. The main building that we entered through. We did easily find access to the roof. The broken door you see on the left is where the elevator mechanisms are, as seen in a later picture.

2. This is the second smaller building. Very thin concrete floors, and there was an owl in the top of the building although we never saw it.. just it's poop. So much poop.

3. This building we never explored because there were people living in it in a trailer. With a dog. Pretty sure they knew we were there but we didn't bother them and they didn't bother us.

4. I guess the water is why their beer was so famous?

5. Looking up at a lid of some kind for the brewery.

6. Water run off.

7. Elevator mechanisms! I have close ups of this that can be posted per request. I just didn't want to flood this thread. There were so many good pictures!

8. This is one of my favorites. The decay and lighting and green just looks really nice.

10/10 would do again.

Looks fun! Let's try and get a pdx meetup again, shall we? Maybe on a Sunday, when assumed access is most plausible? Sundays are generally best for exploring!

Good stuff. This has been high on my to-do list but I've heard stories that the structural integrity of the place is getting pretty bad. Nice to see you can still get to the top.

What kind of HTC do you have? I used to use my HTC M7 up until recently.

Ahhh, The Brewery! I'm sure the old timers will post photos of what it looked like before it was gutted. I actually live about 5 minutes from here, they launch boats off the property now, I just wish they'd get on with restoration and do something with the place. It's such an important piece of history for the area.

Have they toned down activity there? I remember last summer I went there with one of my soldiers and when we showed up there was a demo crew working there (on a Sunday!). Had to scurry away into the trees and creep out of there. Ended up having a nice nature hike, though.

Only activity is what looked like squatters. They didn't bother us and we didn't bother them.

I went here with a few people back in the day- drove down from Seattle (ouch). Long drive and we didn't even get in. That was my first big exploring disappointment.

Thank you for getting some pics years later, I remember the outside distinctly. Lets see if I can find a pic from years ago...

We tried this place too but there was some security clownshoe waffling around in his truck every 10 minutes so we left, and didn't make time to come back. Haven't seen anything posted about this, maybe it's gone

If I remember right the place is actually split in half.. like, I was told there is another abandoned part of the brewery somewhere and I wonder if that's where you went because I don't completely recognize what you are posting.

The second pic is of the lower portion of the newer brewery. It's all still there as I believe it is a functional facility that is still for sale. When I was there last its pretty easy to tell that security was very tight.

I was just at this location this weekend. You guys are correct that there's two sites... the older and newer brewery. I wish I would have spent more time at the old building. I saw the trailer and its resident and figured it was a caregiver. He was outside moving stuff around at the time so I left after only being there for a few minutes.

As far as the new site goes, I spent about 4 hours there and the only other people I saw were some railroad workers who ignored me. Someone apparently decided to put pink duct tape around all the door jambs to tell if people had entered. Lots of the pink tape was broken and access was relatively easy. A couple of the warehouses and the big glass office buildings were the only things really locked up tight.

If anybody wants to take a trip from the Portland area, I'd love to go again. I ran out of time before I was able to see everything.

I didn't see this part ripcity so I'll definitely have to take a trip back when I'm in town. Very nice pictures!
