I will fill in later with either a Fokker DR I or a scruffy bearded guy in a trench.

Greetings,

Last night I scouted both a certain car dealership that laid abandoned forever to find activity there. If you are planning to go there, sooner than later. Found an article about change of ownership dated Feb 24 of this year.

The former ... dealership property on Milwaukee's north side has been sold to a central city church.

Sorry about bad pics linked to. Cell phone and early evening. Was not planning on doing anything more than a scout...

Also, Falk brewery has an interesting change.

3 new locks on the gate. And several semi trailers parked on the lot.

Not sure how "new" this is, but I haven't been there in a few... years and they were not there then.

And then I stumbled upon this article:
http://www.bizjour...-valley-could.html
The long-vacant Falk Brewing Co. Bavaria Brewery in Milwaukee’s Menomonee Valley could be revived as housing and a home for the relaunched Falk beer brand under a plan that is in its early phases.

Again, more sites that are being redone/removed. Mixed feelings towards Falk as restoration would be a thing of beauty... But they are converting a large portion to housing... Which is not...

We will see what happens.

Have fun,

Hugh

Good info. I had lived in the Milwaukee area for a few years but just moved away last year. I had only gotten real serious about exploring during the tail end of my time there. Unfortunately, I never discovered any of these spots before I left. But now, you've given me even more motivation for a long-desired return trip to the area. Great scouting, Hugh and thanks a bunch for sharing your information.

So, that's what that building was - a brewery. My friend lives right by it and told me about it, so i put it on my map but never really looked into it. Thanks for the info.!

So Falk isn't an active site? Been wondering about that for a long time, I heard some manufacturing firm bought it up and was restoring it for some kind of auto part manufacturing. Could have been a crazy just talking, not sure. Still accessible?
