I see what you mean, but how do we genuinely know this? Sure, I dream sometimes, but I've gone years without recalling or remembering a dream, even being woken up abruptly

I had the same problem, only reason i'm remembering a handful now is because for about two days in a row i told myself just as i was going to sleep; "When you wake up, you will remember this" as i was looking for ways to remember dreams, and also how to lucid dream. Surprisingly it actually works, because you've got that saying in the back of your head, which is the same place dreams come from, so effectively you're telling yourself you will remember it.

Every building and site has a story, and they are often of mistakes. Learn from them before they are gone forever.

Oh man, I heard an Art Bell episode one night in high school, so I decided to give it a shot. I ended up with some sort of sleep paralysis that left me conscious, but unable to move and seeing some pretty spooky stuff!

Unfortunately that wasn't the last spooky thing I tried after listening to an Art Bell show :/

I always have exploring dreams, usually at industrial type locations.

I have dreams of places I explored; a Nike missile master, Beth Steel, Atlas F sites, MAB, and many more. I believe in dream time; the waking world and dream time are linked and a part of one another... dreams serve to sort out reality, to protect, and inform you.

Everyone dreams, it's peoples differing ability to recall them which leads people to believe they don't dream. Usually you can only remember a dream if you wake up whilst in the middle of it.

Dreaming is essential for survival. Without it you literally would go insane.

I had an accident were I should have died. Got black out by the G force of a t-bone impact with a semi. After regaining coming to a few seconds later I had no memory of the second or two before impact. From witnesses I knew what had happened.
After about a month I had a dream I was vaguely aware of when I woke. Around 3 PM I suddenly realized the lost 2 seconds memory in vivid detail and my thoughts at the time. I knew I was dead when I saw the semi but kept watching it until I blacked out. I sat there for a few minutes numbed by the total recall. It was chilling. I never had anything like that happen before or since. The mind can blank out events in a trauma situation to help you survive. I can verify that fact.

Had I remembered that immediately after the impact I likely would have died of shock. As it was I was fighting to stay conscious and knew I had internal injuries. wow. A couple morphine sticks sure help shock trauma...
Two days later I walked out of the hospital... slowly.

I had a bad dream about three or four days ago that involved a location that I have recently found and that I have partially explored. There are four buildings on the premises and the one I explored had a bell tower. In the dream I was inside the belfry and was looking out the slots and watched the buildings I have yet explored be demolished. I guess I need to get back and check out the other three buildings.
