Kind of a morbid question, but I'm curious. Does anyone know of any instances in which an urban explorer disappeared, never to be found again (or at least until much, much later)? I was wondering if there are any Chester Copperpots lying in a drain pipe or elevator shaft somewhere, waiting to be discovered.

Or any people under the stairs...

If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find him, maybe you can hire... Tunnelrunner33!

I've only heard of a few who went missing for a few days. Unfortunately, it usually does not end well.

When I say I'm 'clean and sober', it means I've showered and I'm headed to the liquor store.

This one was a really close call, and Shane's write-up of the story is a good read:
