Awhile back a few friends and I did some exploration of the tunnels under our university in Ohio. I got some photos with my phone camera but they didn't turn out so great, I think he got better ones with a real camera and ill have to contact him.
before we even started we glanced in a window of one of the art buildings and saw this ceramics project, was a little creepy, a lot cool.
right at the entrance
after climbing through to one of the main hallways. As it is a steam tunnel, it was very hot down there, kind of nice in the middle of winter.
portions of the tunnels were pretty well lit
another well lit part, we talked about how it was funny that this was an adventure for us, but for some maintenance workers it was just a pain in the ass to have to go down there and fix something.
Our campus is pretty huge, and while we didn't explore the whole thing it seems like the tunnels just follow the pattern of the streets above. We would look through the occasional manhole to keep track of where we were and ended up emerging on the far opposite side of the campus. We may go back down and see if there are any cool connections to other underground stuff.
