Today I paid a visit to an infamous asylum in Maryland, although my experience was very brief and was rushed do to limited time I managed to cover about 90% of the campus. After finding somewhere to park.. and asking very nicely for permission to park there and avoid being towed.. I found my way down a winding path through the woods which would eventually lead me to my destination..
When the trees finally gave way to the first of the buildings. I found myself in a more modern single story building with a way encircling the of the building.. after making my way through that more modern building and scaling a wall I found the older parts of the campus for which I came to explore. here is a little taste of todays adventure.. including some local wildlife we encountered.. full album here.. http://s738.photob...show/FUN%20IN%20MD

This happens with certain image-editing software and certain cameras. Some image editors and cameras will rotate the image files by just putting a tag in the EXIF data rather than actually rotating the pixels. Most image uploaders, including UER, completely ignore this EXIF data. The best solution is to either use an outside image hosting solution such as Flickr that actually pays attention to this EXIF data, or rotate the images in a program like Photoshop, GIMP, or Lightroom that actually rotates the pixels in the image.

There were other explorers on the property while I was there I heard them a few times near the rest of the campus and it had rained and their footprints were in the mud entering the buildings and on the paths. Heard them spook when a bell from the job corps went off I guess they thought I was an alarm because they had just entered the building I was in and then u heard them freak and take off running.. I was a floor above them. I don't think they ever knew we were there..

live snake and I had to scale the wall behind the first building at the end of the path because I went through it and didn't realize the courtyard surrounding the rear of the building had a concrete wall around it

Thanks for the info! I had the same problem using the UER uploader yesterday. I used Photobucket instead and all was well.

I've been caught there and the security didn't make a big deal about it. Just asked us to leave. (They seem to think we were college kids writing a paper). But that's likely shammed now as per Punchy's mention^^^

We got caught the day after the buildings were torched, we did not know about the arson until they caught us. They said next time they would prosecute if they found us there. Thats the only reason I haven't gone back. They actually escorted us all the way off the property... I made a video but the audio isn't very good when we get caught.
