I am arriving into Ohio July 4th and spending a few days there before making my way to Buffalo and Niagara Falls and stopping into Detroit on the way through to Chicago for a few days there.

Does anyone know anything great around Youngstown OH?

Anything that is a 'must do and see' in Detroit?

I won't have a lot of time in Detroit as I'll be passing through but I'd at least love to be able to shoot one or two things or meet with some people up that way (I'd love to return and do Detroit in more detail at a later date).

Would love to meet up in Detroit to do some exploring! One of my other exploring friends came across some rare color infrared-sensitive film the other week and wanted to shoot some locations with it so we were already trying to plan a day of exploring around the city. Weekends work best, especially since we were planning to hit up the Belle Isle Aquarium just to check it out since its been re-opened but let me know when you'll be in town and maybe we can work something out!

I can show you a couple-few locations around the Detroit area. Unfortunately, many of the buildings we used to explore are now sealed off and/or guarded (i.e., the old Belle Isle Zoo and parts of the Packard Plant) but I can find a couple of places when you come if you wish.

I'll be there 7/7 and 7/8 at this stage with the plan to stay overnight in Detroit before going on to Chicago.
