I'm sad to say that Hynite Fertilizer in Milwaukee is gone. I'm not sure exactly when they did it, but all that remains are tall, stinky, piles of gravel.

Before (December 2014)

After (June 20)

The only other coolish picture I got while I was there, was this bulldozer.

RIP Hynite

Well I suppose it was bound to happen sooner or later. Im surprised it stayed around as long as it did. At least we got to see it while it was there. Glad to see your photos. Cool shots.

Thanks Chuck

And Relik, don't forget about that automotive parts factory. I'm not sure it'll be around for much longer.

I will fill in later with either a Fokker DR I or a scruffy bearded guy in a trench.

Like most things in the Milwaukee Area. Condos, tore down, or office space. Running out of places.

Glad I spent time there before it was gone.

Also glad I got to hit Tower Automotive before it was torn down and became a city depot...(edit:Century City Business Park is now there and it is all gone) Most of the buildings around Tower have been also been dismantled or repurposed. If I recall some of the fight scenes for the third episode of a transforming robot movie were filmed in that area as they were tearing it down. Haven't hit there since 2014, but at that time it looked like they were tearing down all the vacants in that block. Tower WAS a also good explore before it vanished.

I never was good at learning things. I did just enough work to pass. In my opinion it would have been wrong to do more than was just sufficient, so I worked as little as possible. Manfred von Richthofen
