Window Curtains

I've always found it interesting that no matter what condition a location is in, there always seems to be untouched window curtains/blinds somewhere inside. It adds to the saying that time freezes in these places. By looking at the colors and designs, you can sometimes get a sense of the time period in which the buildings were functioning. Here are some examples:

My favorite example was in Group Two at Kings Park, which sadly was demolished shortly after our first trip.

Also KPPC. Worst composition in the world, but still relevant.

Nice! I love how the floor is completely collapsed but the curtains are intact.

I'll add a few:

1. This is one of my favorite pictures from a long-abandoned house in Virginia. A destroyed wall in the foreground and untouched curtains on an unbroken window in the background.

2. Same house

3. Another collapsing Virginia house a few towns down the road.

4. Barely hanging on in rural Indiana
