Might have something to do with all the toxins in Lake Erie. Not to mention all the chemicals dumped in the ground up in Niagara County. They bring the crazy to a whole new level!

Posted by TheSwanStation I was exploring in Sharon Springs and the Catskills beginning of last week. I did not even think about the possibility of running into them until a friend mentioned it. We still went out though, we were far enough away from Dannemora area I figured we were pretty safe. I agree with Samurai. I would imagine they left the area as soon as they escaped. No way they planned such a complex escape and did not have a equally good plan for when they got out.

My roommate is a night security guard (yay for me!). Anyways, she got a visit from a US Marshall about a month ago to be on the lookout for an escapee they were trying to apprehend in the area. They came to her as a courtesy/warning, since he had a habit of kidnapping and raping young women. He wouldn't tell her anything else. Well, only a two days later, the same Marshall contacted her and said that they found the guy in fucking LAS VEGAS. We live in DFW (Dallas-Ft. Worth), TX. That just goes to show that you can't underestimate the cunning of many of these people. Sociopaths are usually, incredibly bright and resourceful people (and don't forget very desperate), so just keep your guard up, even when the stories or current events, etc. seem like they are far from home. By the way, the only way this guy was caught was because he kidnapped again in Las Vegas. He might have gotten away otherwise. Be careful out there!
