Mercury smelting pipes, not opium ones I'm afraid. Probably instantly recognisable to a lot of folks in this area. Not a hurried or stressful explore, this. Just nice to get out and about in some of California's ghost towns. Man, was it hot though. We decided to call it quits after not as long as I'd planned due to running low on water.
