This is cool as fuck!

I wonder if scuba divers/photographers take heat from other scuba diver photographers for getting media exposure

I like the woman who found them: SCUBA diver, photographer, diving instructor, coast guard captain, discoverer of aircraft dumping grounds, and hot. Talk about your overachiever type.

Freudian slip, much, Misunderstood?

Not to worry. I wouldn't mind seeing Ms. Mueller's underwear shots myself. It's ok, you're not alone.

Great pictures and a very cool find! But trying to read any Daily Mail article just gives me a headache. Is correct grammar usage even a consideration in the hiring process over there?

As one commenter pointed out, "This article is poorly researched. Brandi Mueller did not "discover" these aircraft. Many of these aircraft had been charted going back to the 60's. By the late 70's over 100 of these planes off Roi had been mapped. There were more "discovery" missions done in 1991 and 1995. I spoke with Bill Remick who was personally involved in mapping 8 different aircraft. 25 to 29 years ago! So please, stop giving Brandi Mueller credit for something that she only photographed and in no way "discovered.""

Thanks for the clarification, Shawn. Obviously I'm not familiar with the backstory here.

Got any good links on the history of this site? My Google-fu is weak tonight.

Yes, and BASE jumpers will actually get their friends together and come to your place of residence to talk to (threaten) you about it. That's how I learned about discretion. And these instagrammers think a stern DM is mean.

Regardless of who found them (and can you imagine being the first one to actually find them, that would be incredible), I've always loved that nose-dived Corsair sticking out of the seabed. If I was a diver, it's a place I'd simply have to go.

Most Instagram explorers don't know the first thing about discretion. Some locations should never be posted at all, no matter how cool if they're unique and identifiable enough. Sometimes the best thing we can do for ourselves and the places we visit is to keep silent and wait to post the pictures until after demolition is complete and the statue of limitations has expired, and even then only among small trusted circles.

"Sorry, I didn't know I'm not supposed to be here," he said, knowing full well he wasn't supposed to be there.
