These pictures are from probably one of biggest (mostly) abandoned industrial area in Southern Finland. Some parts are still in use and at last years 99,9% of it have been closed really well. Steel bars or plates on windows, high fences with out bended parts at the top and so on. Even this building where from these are, were fenced, but I still were able to find small hole to get in.

And then... great fortress of idiotism, traditional off-topic-bonus-shoot! Today it comes from my this year's second trip to my Paradise. Days are again longer, this is over 30 kilometers from here so I did have to wake 4:45 to get there at sunrise. But I'll think it was worth it, even night were so cold that ground were frozen and because that there weren't too much mist at any point. Well, at one point there were it quite nicely:

To the next time...

The calcification on that ladder in the intro shot is really something. I always wait with baited breath rolling through your photos to reach the bonus shot. I think this one was the best yet!

Thank you for your kind words and paying attention to these (I somewhat think that photos are really born when they are watched). That bird corpse is most amazing I've ever seen and yes, I get same "angel of death" vision on my mind too. You can believe I were happy to notice it still were there - I were quite sure it would have vanish but no.

Now I actually feel that I should have spent even more time with those birds, but back then I did feel that I did find every photo that there were. And you can believe that I did spent lot of time with them. Hmmm... at next week there is one holiday in the middle of week... would that place still be open...

Thank you very much!

And now back to beer.

The top of the ladder in the first shot looks like a monster! The space between the top rung is the mouth, the calcification the teeth and the dead grass on top as the hair. I can even see eyes and nose in there. Excellent shot!!

Wow. Just, wow. I'm blown away by how artistic these are, especially the ladder and the bird pictures. You did a great job with these.
