My first crane.

I climbed my first crane, quite possibly the most sketchy thing I've ever done in my life. Had to go in the middle of the night, because when scouting it out during the day, I saw 3 cop cars within 2 minutes. The crane is extremely visible, even at night. On the way down, a security guard had stopped walking near the tower and looked up, I'm not sure if he saw me and my buddies, but we held still for several minutes until he walked away and hauled ass out of there. It was all worth it though, one of the best experiences of my life.

1. This picture was inspired by someone on UER.CA that posted a similar one, so a bit unoriginal I admit.

2. A view of distant buildings.

3. A cool point of view from the operator cab.

4. A bit blurry, but worth posting.

Thanks! It can definitely be risky, but it's super rewarding.

I've only done one crane before, in my hometown and I can ditto what you say with it being one of if not the most sketchy thing I have ever done - especially if like me you do it during a freezing cold January night with a hat but no gloves, and a 24/7 security presence who decided to go for a wander around whilst we were up there trying to stay hidden...

The results can be amazing though as these photos prove.
