If yes, would you consider maybe signing up to http://www.aditnow.co.uk/

It'd be great to have more of an overseas membership, its also a great resource for getting into mine exploring.

It seems there are quite a few mine explorers world over and aditnow is the only real forum for mine exploring, so it'd be great to get everyone a bit more central and hear more about overseas mines!

I hope this is okay with the mods as well.

It's a great, but definitely under-utilized community. I'd love to see more contributors.

Looks like a well put together site. I does not look like there are many entries for the other side of the pond, and it would likely be difficult leap to make. I know a few people over here have their own databases and sites that mirror the same sort of content, albeit without the forum feature.

Used to spend quite a bit of time on www.mine-explorer.co.uk but not so much now that it has crashed and burned. Go to know SpeedyCaver quite well and had the opportunity to cross the pond to do Cwmorthin as well as the CRTT. LOVED IT!!

No doubt you've crossed this "bridge" before.

Probably a bit dramatic! It just died. Most people moved to aditnow.

I've still not gotten around to the CRTT yet, its a bit overrated these days. Busy with other mines still!

Story?

No story really. I believe that the site was privately hosted and the server crashed. Miles, the owner, is a busy guy and just hasn't gotten the site back up and going. AditNow always seemed like a nice forum, I just never got around to spending much time over there. I'll probably head over there and share some pictures of our dry mines.
