Ive researched the place afterward. Honestly it looks like a farm. As far as the head goes, i spotted it from a distance. At first i though it was someone hiding. I do many explorations on my own. Makes slightly creepy stuff... creepier.

That looks like a pretty cool find! I'll have to try and make my way out into the valley sometime

An oldie but a goodie. There's a lot more stuff in #1 than I remember. And the ceilings are looking terrible.

The shoes actually creeped me out the most at this location. It reminds me of Auschwitz, in Poland.

Funny, cause I always want to go explore around Vancouver island. My last trip paid off. Made the most out of my 3 days. but once every 5 years is not enough.

very cool set

Came across this location myself in late June. Interesting to see how much more overgrown it has become in a year's time. I did not have enough time to explore the farming structures on the northern edge of the acreage, but I did get pictures of all structures in the southern half. Nobody in sight when I was there, although the entrance to the acreage is gated with signage. Since then I've also tracked down a book written by an inmate that spent some time at this facility in the 80s, she goes into great detail about her experience there, describing it as "unusual" but ultimately positive.
