Another nice spot from my north-eastern States tour last month, and a 'first' as far as exploration is concerned - hat-tip to EsseXploreR for the finding of it just prior to my trip, so we checked it out together with no idea on how to get in, whether it was watched over by anyone or anything. Turned out pretty cool, it looked like it was mid-renovation with fresh paint and plasterboard until the extremely harsh winter came and screwed everything up. It's a beautiful place so I hope it doesn't remain derelict too much longer now Spring is here.

Yeah, sometimes it pays to make a wrong turn. All signs point to the building being de-winterized now by the way, so work should start again soon to fix the place up. Hopefully it can see new life, as it's probably the most beautiful house I've ever been in. Nice set bud.

That's good to hear it won't be falling into more of a ruin, bet the owners were gutted when they turned up to find it a mess from the weather!
