As many of you know, the Kirkbride at Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital is being remediated in preparation for demolition. The group Preserve Greystone is hosting a rally outside the building on 4/12. If anybody can make it, that would be awesome. We are trying to get a decent enough group together that the media might actually show some interest. It will be around noon in front of the Kirkbride. Here are some photos that show how far along they are with remediation. Sorry for the image quality. I didn't bring my camera with me this time.

Well, another bump in the road. They barely touched the Kirk today, only stripping an already rotted section of roof down. Your support and presence is still highly appreciated and needed. Even if they only save center main, it's still something...

What a shame.

How was the rally?

It seems the rally had a lot of people showing up.

The rally was an overall success I would say. There were reporters, camera crews, great speakers, and around 300 or 400 people throughout the day. Lots of towns people came over and spoke to us, and admitted from the start it was never really an issue for them. We changed some minds and got a handful of signatures out of it. Thanks for everybody on here that made it down. I can tell by the way that the news is reporting now, we are really starting to make a major impact. Here are a few photos from the event. I didn't bring my camera, I just snapped a few with my phone.
