This one is from a recent trip. Even got a story from it. The complex is a fairly large one built in 1902 though not for any urgent purpose, nor was it used extensively during major wars. Seems it was more of just a backup hospital in case it was needed.

On to the story, so after driving around the building for a bit we actually came across a great hiding spot, located next to these trailers only 20 feet away from the building, seemingly business buildings. There were people inside them, which was odd as this was on a Sunday morning, but we figured they wouldn't bother us too much, and all their cars parked up next to them gave a good spot to park. So after walking around and taking pictures inside the building we go up to the second floor. There was a hallway going straight through to the other side, oddly enough, it seemed to end abruptly and there was light and trees just sitting there at the end, but we eventually figured out the building was built on a very slight slope, so it was simply a door. When we finally got to it we heard a small dog patting around having a blast. This is when my friend told me it was time to leave because it could be cops/security, I disregarded it as a person's pet as this was located adjacent to a neighborhood. But he convinced me it would be a good idea to leave the area. This doorway was part of a hallway perpendicular to the one we had just walked down, so he headed down this one to find a way out without direct line of sight to the doorway, just as we were about to duck into another hallway and head out I look back and see the small happy dog lean in, it looks straight at me without a care in the world. Three seconds later a German Shepard with a collar and leash walks in. Time to leave, quickly. We run down this hallway and go down a staircase which leads to a door for our way out, which you can see in a picture below. My friend slams the door open as this was a pretty good distance away so it was a safe measure, and we turn the corner and find a bunch of people from the trailers standing around their cars, a couple giving us stern angry looks. We disregard them and walk to my car. As we open my doors we see a cop car turn the corner and drive right around observing everyone, luckily we wore semi-formal clothes that passed as business attire, which is probably why he didn't bother us. We then followed him off the property driving a couple feet behind. Luckily he didn't pay too much mind to my out of state tag.
