Winter's Kiss

=

Explored on a particularly cold March winter's day that began with sunshine and ended in a hail of, well... hail.

Thanks for looking, commenting, raging, etc. - it's always appreciated.

Nicely shot. 1 and 6 are my favorites.

Thank you. I had a few people request prints of the first one, it's one I like as well. The sun was in the right place and the incline of the land suits the scene.

Continuing winter's grip...

Rather than risk being caught here, we just asked the farmer if we could take some photos. It paid off. Today I received a message from another explorer who was not so lucky - they were caught and the police were called. Sometimes the direct approach works just as well as the unconventional approach.

p.s. farmers are not the same as your average property owner, tread carefully.

Various certificates found inside dated back to the late 1800's.

(photos taken without tripod, so the composition and such aren't the best)

Really like the first one and the 5th one on the second set. Farm houses with things left behind on the shelves and hanging on the walls in the kitchen are always so interesting to me.
