Twelve hours of driving, a few wrong turns, some great finds and some great friends. And now it's time to watch TWD finale and jump into bed.

Enjoy and thanks for looking.

1. Silly Rabbit

2. Another War Is Born

3. God Requireth That Which Is Past

4. Slow Burn, Warm Nights

5. Late for the Rumba

6. Missed Connections

7. Cash Grab(*)

* Two wooden handcrafted boxes contained numerous old coins including over thirty 50-cent pieces and some gold chains. I didn't check the karat value of the chains. Although there was some joking about it being able to pay for our dinner, the boxes were left as is.

I love how this place is almost as it was when it was left. It's frozen in time!

Always amazing to me how a few objects left in a place can add so much life to a photo. Love how the blue soap dispenser in the bathroom added with the windex bottle, and baby blanket looks so interesting.
The old telephone is Terrific!

The phone gives you an idea of when the house it was found in was constructed. It's got a lot of history for sure.

Most were 1950's and 1960's, I checked the internet and their value is about $1.00 apiece. There was also a set of quarters that Canada released where you received a different one every month - which I believe was done in 2000. The latest coin was about 2000. The earliest was a 1913 Canadian penny. There was also a small pouch containing some American one-dollar bills. Also about 8 rolls of US quarters.

I could just picture the resident when they were younger going over their coins with the magnifying glass that was in the box.

Yes,
I can just see ol'Estelle sitting in her rocker trying to get as close as she can possibly get to the receiver talking on the party-line to her sisters MayBelle and ClaraBelle..lol
