One thing to be in wonderment is situation of abandoned places in my hometown. This town was built around industry and comparing how many companies have died in last two decade, it's amazing how here ain't almost anything abandoned. Well, this mill is exception. It's good place to get some replacement therapy when you can't get any further. At last week I were on that situation. But what I didn't remember, there were 80% solar eclipse going on at the same time while taking these photos, or at least most of them: few outside pictures were taken at next day... but welcome to this mill. It was built at 1911 and it did end it's work at '60s.

But first one picture from old newspaper...

...to see the change:

And then those other photos:

Tree, Rapids and Mill:

Spring Time Flood:

The Tree:

Wild Water:

Still Black:

Dying Down:

At the Sky There Were... Dying Sun:

Hanging Heart:

The Temple of Rust:

Machinery Art:

Rust (Together to the End):

With Whitewater Noise:

Beauty of Decadence:

Silently Everything Shall Go Down:

59:

Industrial Art:

Light in Darkness:

-----

And today's off-topic-bonus is really old one and I'm not sure if this has already been here (weather have been so dull lately what coms to nature photographing that must get on with these old ones), but here we go with one from 2010:

That's all, folks.

Love the way you did the historical photos. Spring Time Flood is really an eye catcher. Even the building is winking, or falling asleep..cant decide...
Still Black is so very Crisp and Rich. Very Nice!
Hanging heart get my attention because I've always wanted someone to put a heart on a wall for me... Yeah, a little crazy i am.
The Gears are awesome and the off topic pic is GORGEOUS!

I was bit concerned about those BW-pictures - that kind editing is often used to hide total miss of content. May be right with these too, but somehow I did feel that these photos really need it.

Thank you very much!

Thanks, and I will try. Actually there are already next set from really isolated and old farm waiting for release... New location for me and I really did love it... so we'll see if I can keep it hide to next weekend.
