On this day we visited a few spots with no success. We were about to call it a day when I looked through Google Maps and saw a place that could be good. It was our last shot and it ended up working out. Unfortunately I forgot my tripod so I missed out on a lot of shots.

Excellent stuff all the same. I often leave the tripod away on purpose and just shoot handheld cranking the ISO.

Liking your shots! Especially Unhinged, and Frozen Tangle. Thats some short steps on those stairs. Might be weird but i think that brick in Scattered Machines just makes that pic

Unhinged is something special. In fact, I think these are all amazing for hand-steadied shots. I really need to start experimenting with leaving the tripod behind.

Neat. Looks cold. I like the icicles on the chicken wire, though.

You still managed some good shots.
I remember only shooting handheld. Definitely a different experience. I also need to do that more often.

Thanks, luckily my camera does pretty well in low light but most of my shots ended up shaky unfortunately.

Different indeed. I'm used to low ISO and long exposures so I felt a little uncomfortable shooting.

Looks like a nice place! I especially liked 9-12. The icicle photo is a really nice one.

I really like your detail shots and how you use the light. Great stuff, and I should try leaving my tripod at home..
