The Librarian's House

The Librarian had a massive collection of books upstairs. The entire upper area consisted of book shelves around every turn. The house was intact with all furniture in place and books in the wall shelves but upon our visit, found everything had been put into a large dumpster where it would be taken to a landfill site.

The barn remains untouched and thousands of magazines can still be found inside of it.

It appears the winter hibernation period is over for many and the thrill of the explore has resumed. Thanks for looking

Your photos are nice. But I didn't know peoople still did hdr. I feel like in another 10-15 years. Hdr photography is going to start being on the "worst" lists of the 2000s.

Of course people still do it, it appears on social media including UER daily. Some is tasteful, other is over the top.

By 2025 they'll be too busy making fun of our clothing and that we ever listened to Bieber, to notice the photography.

I don't understand the hate for HDR. Sure it looks bad when it's overdone, but what doesn't? It produces some really good images, such as the ones in the OP.

I love these! Wish I had that many bookshelves.

The best HDR is that which at first glance doesn't look much different to a normal photo - such as #5.

Overcooked eye-raping glowing-halo outlined images indistinguishable from a video game screenshot are cack.

I agree with Mookster a subtle HDR isn't bad. Honestly I shoot all my sets with three shots so if I wanted to I could do HDR. I like the crisp look and strong textures. I have done really strong HDR before but it was for artistic value and they ended up selling pretty well.
