The downtown Dallas freeway noose is being upgraded, so that it can be overloaded with even more vehicles heading from Oklahoma to Austin. One thing that has happened as a result is that the Rat Race entrance appears to be buried under 20 feet of dirt. I think we can be reasonably certain that the drain still has an outflow - otherwise, downtown would resemble a very soppy sponge by this point.

Any ideas what the eventual fate of the outflow will be? I wonder what geometry we'll find under the new freeway ramps?

J'ai toujours fait une prière à Dieu, qui est fort courte.
La voici: "Mon Dieu, rendez nos ennemis bien ridicules!"
Dieu m'a exaucé.
