Can't think of any photos in particular I have for this topic, but I was surprised to see the original poster's picture because it hasn't been too long since I've seen one of those. I worked retail and we had quite a few power outages where we had to bust out the manual imprint machines.

Looks like some sort of microwave dish. usually used for point-to-point line-of-sight transmission/receiving, often in a relay-type arrangement.
