Years ago in college me and a friend went to check out a steel mill which looked to be abandoned and being fixed up to reopen following a recent sale...turns out it was not exactly shut down and instead just closed for the weekend so we made it quick.

It was a neat mill and I wonder how much they changed when they refinished it. The floor was a very neat old wood block and you could see it had really not been changed much since it opened.

my girl and i went to checkout what we thought was some old abandoned (sealed) factory near girrard. crawled under a gate, up onto the dock. i realized it was used for storage at the same moment a friggin alarm went off. nice pix.
