Recently explored an abandoned Grain Elevator near my area, thought I'd share a couple of my shots here.
I sure wish I had a better camera and better skills, Haha

I thought the way the camera decided to focus on the illuminated particles in the air in this picture was kind of interesting.

Looks like fun. Did you have access to the roof?

I did actually, and the photos didn't turn out very well (it was night). I might be back in the daylight soon so I might post some roof pictures then.

I really dig the first photo - sometimes accidental shots are the best ones. How high up was the place? It looks like you'd have quite the view from those windows.

I could not agree more. Sometimes when my camera gets a mind of its own and focuses on what it wants (and not what I want), I get really fascinating shots.

Every time you read this, I become more powerful.

I'd guess around 70 ft. I'll hopefully be posting some more photos soon. The view is pretty good.

That's damn cool! I love the old look of the photos. Is it film?

It's actually just a cheap powershot camera and I did some post processing.
I took the pictures in the dark with flash, that might have something to do with it, haha.

One more, I had to use longer exposures for all my shots so they would turn out in the dark.
I ran an effect on this one, what do you guys think?

That last shot looks like a miniature set.

Those rooftop pictures are pretty cool. I've always liked those photos where people "light paint" with the car lights, so to speak.

"Sorry, I didn't know I'm not supposed to be here," he said, knowing full well he wasn't supposed to be there.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. The way I blurred the lights near the top kind of produced that effect.
